# ShoValley runtime art

This is the small runtime subset used by the ShoValley project, not an asset pack for download or reuse. Source PNG bytes were copied unchanged from the local sorted asset library. `atlas.json` describes source rectangles and rendering suggestions. `integrity.json` records source identity, dimensions and SHA-256 verification.

Both included local licenses permit use in commercial and non-commercial projects. Both forbid redistributing or reselling the assets as assets. Do not add a download gallery. Keep visible creator credits in the valley page.

## Rendering contract

- Top-down pixel art with visible front facades; no isometric transformation.
- Disable image smoothing. Use integral screen pixel positions and integer zoom where practical.
- The Woolly grid is 16px. Modular 32px parts are displayed at half source size to match this grid, without modifying the source files.
- Sprite positions refer to the ground anchors in `atlas.json`. Depth-sort by ground Y.
- The villager PNG is **not** a contiguous 16px frame grid: populated frame X positions are 0, 32, 64, 96. Native rows are right, up and down; mirror the right row for left. Timing is an implementation choice.
- The community tree is the existing mature tree drawn at 3× logical size. Growth can enrich the surrounding square without allowing its hit area to cover the town.
- Cabin recipes combine existing roof, wall and door modules at draw time; the red cottage uses a whole existing sprite. Per-home gardens, signs, fences and flower patterns provide further differences.

No original raster was recolored, resized, cropped or overwritten. No images from the noncommercial or unverified packs were included.
